Judy Lewis is Assistant Professor of Music Education at the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam in New York. She holds an EdD in Music & Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to SUNY Potsdam, Judy served as assistant professor of music education and director of the Master of Music in K-12 Contemporary Teaching Practices at the University of Southern California. She is most interested in the intersections of digital technology, popular music and critical pedagogy and how attention to these issues in our pedagogies can create more inclusive spaces in the music classroom.
