Visions of the Future: Education in the Arts (2006)

This 12 minute DVD features the voices of leaders from organizations such as the National School Boards Association, the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education, the Ford Foundation, National Association of Elementary School Principals, Young Audiences, and more. AEP created this DVD for partnership organizations to use in advocacy efforts when trying to reach local and state policy makers and other community leaders. The Arts and Children: A Success Story, a 1996 advocacy video featuring Meryl Streep, is also included on this DVD. This powerful video still holds up with a strong message that the arts are vital in the lives of young people, and makes a powerful complement to Visions of the Future. Cost: $10 plus shipping
