Submit Your Proposal for a Concurrent Session at the 2017 AEP Annual Convening!
AEP is pleased to announce a call for concurrent session proposals for the 2017 AEP Annual Convening: The Arts Leading the Way to Student Success. The 2017 AEP Annual Convening will explore arts-centered solutions aimed at ensuring America’s students have access to a high-quality education in and through the arts by addressing the priority areas outlined in AEP’s 2020 Action Agenda. AEP will accept proposals online until Friday, June 2 at 5 p.m. PST. Proposals must address one of AEP’s priority areas:
- Priority Area 1: Raise Student Achievement and Success.
- Priority Area 2: Support Effective Educators and School Leaders.
- Priority Area 3: Transform the Teaching and Learning Environment.
- Priority Area 4: Build Leadership Capacity and Knowledge.
The AEP Annual Convening provides a valuable platform for examining research, education policy and effective practices for improved student outcomes and convenes arts and education leaders from across the nation to share their work supporting the role and contribution of the arts in preparing all students for success in school, work and life.
AEP staff will review concurrent session proposals and will evaluate them based on the appropriateness of content to one of the priority areas outlined in AEP’s 2020 Action Agenda, relevance to the Annual Convening’s audience of leaders and how actively participants are engaged in the session format.
